How storytime will work in GW2

During the final beta weekend event, we held a successful test story time. Here's what we found out that should make storytime in Guild Wars 2 very easy to access.

You can join the story time guild on any character, and choose to represent or not represent it at any time. Since your name will be on the guild roster whether or not you are representing at that time, I will be able to send you information on when and where the next storytime will take place.

I will send this notification by in-game mail. Having your name on the storytime guild list will make it easy for me to keep in contact with you.

There is no need to represent this guild at any time. Being one on the list in the guild will guarantee an invite any time there's going to be a story though. Hope to see you in game!

We'll be trying a few different methods pertaining to how stories will go in both gw1 and gw2. I'm open to ideas. The two options I'm thinking about are:

1. Two stories each day, different times, one per game.
2. One story per day, alternating gw1 and gw2.

I'll be playing both GW1 and GW2 each day (hopefully), so I'm fine with option #2. That would be easier on your hands as well.

Do we have to be on the same HomeWorld/server to meet for ST?

You will have to be on the same server, however once "guesting" is an option, there should be no problem visiting.

The benefits of being on your home server mainly have to do with PvP and WvWvW. So guesting will have no major effect, be it positive or negative.

Borlis Pass was one of the Servers marked as Medium, but whether or not it will remain that way it unknown. I don't mind transferring every so often for storytime.

Is there any storytime going on in GW2 anymore?

We may or may not pick it back up. Since people in other countries can't guest to America servers in Guild Wars 2, it's difficult to keep the same crowd.

I'll be looking more into it after the Fortress in the Eye of Time series is done, maybe!
